I recently had the pleasure of staying at Utsuroi Tsuchiya Annex in Kinosaki Onsen, and I must say, my experience exceeded all expectations. The exceptional hospitality displayed by the family-run establishment truly set it apart- from the warm welcome to the owner going above and beyond to ensure our comfort and convenience, such as assisting us with transportation during a typhoon. The personal touches, like the traditional tea upon arrival and handwritten card in the room, made me feel truly valued as a guest. The attention to detail extended to the room itself, with comfortable futon beds that provided a restful night's sleep and a clean, spacious bathroom that felt private despite being shared. The presence of a private onsen on-site, easily accessible without needing reservations, added a luxurious touch to our stay. The prime location at the end of the charming shopping street offered a picturesque view of Sakura trees lining the canal, enhancing the overall ambiance of the hotel. The seamless check-in/out process, free toiletries, and the thoughtful gesture of returning a forgotten item like my shower bag showcased the hotel's commitment to guest satisfaction. The staff's friendliness, efficiency, and willingness to go the extra mile, like offering a ride to the station on a rainy day, left a lasting impression on me. Utsuroi Tsuchiya Annex truly combines traditional Japanese hospitality with modern comforts flawlessly, creating a memorable and highly satisfying stay. I wholeheartedly recommend this gem to anyone seeking a personalized and top-notch accommodation experience in Kinosaki Onsen.
